We will celebrate International Bog Day with two diffirent trips:
1) canoe trip 6 km on Raudna river + 3 km bogwalking on Ingatsi trail (ca 4 h); meeting point is near Kuusekäära bridge at 11 a.m.; trip price 15 EUR/p.p.; please take your own food ja drink together
2) bogshoeing 10 km across Kuresoo bog from Aesoo village to Karuskose (ca 4 h);
meeting point is Alta bus stop in Aesoo village at 11 a.m.: trip price 15 EUR/p.p.; please take your own food ja drink together
After trip you are welcome to meeting with famous Estonian writer Indrek Hargla at 4 p.m. at Soomaa Nature Centre (in Estonian). Meeting is for free and sponsored by Estonian Environmental Board. Indrek Hargla tells how he wrote novel „Rabaröövlid“ („The bog robbers“), in wich action takes place in Soomaa.
