A new breed of horses – Konik horses, arrived to Soomaa national park and will help to maintain the flood plain grasslands.
This initiative has been supported by nature conservation organization ARK Nature and Rewilding Europe project.
From Wikipedia one can learn that Konik horses are originally from in Poland.
